Our commitment and experienced team of employees have translated into dynamic development. For over half a century, we have been a logistics company that provides our clients with international services at the highest level.
Our History
Delta was founded in 1973 as a modest shipping agency in Istanbul.
Initially, it represented American-flagged ships Prudential Lines, Farrell Lines and later ARC. With offices in Izmir and Adana and the support of its truck fleet, it began providing transit transportation to the Middle East and CIS countries in the early 1980s.
With its maritime activities decreasing towards the 2000s, Delta focused on specializing in military logistics, which began in the 1980s.
Most notably, Delta was responsible for the deployment and transportation of armored vehicles belonging to the US Armed Forces in the Iraq War.
Today, Delta D&T provides transportation solutions for NATO, the US Department of Defense and the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
